Chocolate Chip Bars

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Milk 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Semi-sweet chocolate morsels 6 Ounce, divided
Directions

Cream butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy in a small mixer bowl.
Add egg, milk, and vanilla.
Beat well.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and soda.
Add to the sugar mixture.
Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate morsels.
Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
Sprinkle with remaining chocolate morsels.
Microwave at HIGH 3 minutes.
Rotate dish 1/4 turn.
Microwave at HIGH 2 to 4 minutes, rotating 1/2 turn after 2 minutes.
Let stand directly on the counter to cool before cutting into bars.
