Try Now Chocolate Chip Bars

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1 stick)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Firmly packed brown sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Egg 1
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Semisweet chocolate pieces 6 Ounce (1 package)
Directions

1. Cream butter with vanilla extract. Add brown sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy. Add egg and beat thoroughly.
2. Blend flour, baking powder and salt thoroughly; stir into creamed mixture. Stir in half of chocolate pieces. Turn into a greased 8-inch square glass baking dish. Sprinkle remaining chocolate pieces on top.
3. Cook uncovered in microwave oven 6 to 7 minutes at BAKE, or until edges begin to pull away from the sides of the dish; rotate dish one-quarter turn 2 or 3 times. Cool and cut into bars
