Chocolate Chocoroons

Ingredients
  Semi sweet chocolate morsels 6 Ounce (1 Cup, Package)
  Cream of tartar 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Egg whites 2
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla flavoring 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Flaked coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Corn flakes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

1. Melt chocolate morsels over hot, but not boiling, water or over very low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat to cool slightly.
2. Add cream of tartar to egg whites; beat until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until very stiff.
3. Fold in cooled chocolate and vanilla. Add coconut, salt and Bran Flakes; mix to combine. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.
4. Bake in slow oven (300° F.) about 20 minutes or until done.
