Martha Washington's Creams

Ingredients
  Powdered sugar 1 Pound (1 Box)
  Butter 1⁄4 Pound
  Vanilla/Other flavoring 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Bitter chocolate 4 Ounce (4 Squares)
Directions

Soften butter.
Sift sugar and work into butter until light and foamy.
Add flavoring and salt.
Melt chocolate over boiling water.
Dip molded creams into mixture, set on greased platter to harden. (Dip by placing toothpick into bottom of cream.)
