Macadamia Nut Chocolates
|Semi sweet chocolate pieces||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Canned evaporated milk||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Crushed vanilla wafers||12 Ounce (2.5 Cups)|
|Sifted confectioners sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped macadamia nuts||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts/Pecans||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Orange juice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Place chocolate pieces and evaporated milk in a deep 1 1/2 -quart cooking dish.
Microwave, uncovered, 2 minutes on high, until chocolate melts, stirring after 1 minute.
Stir in crushed wafers, sugar, macadamia nuts (1/3 cup), walnuts and orange juice.
Mix until well-blended.
Let stand at room temperature about 1 hour.
Drop chocolate mixture by half-teaspoons onto dish with remaining macadamia nuts (1 cup).
Roll to coat with nuts and make balls.
Refrigerate to harden.
