Rum Balls With Vanilla Wafers

Ingredients
  Vanilla wafers 17 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)
  Walnuts/Dried peanuts / filberts / almonds 14 Ounce (1 Can)
  Cocoa 2 Tablespoon
  Light corn syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dark rum/Bourbon 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Confectioners sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

Grind vanilla wafers and nuts very fine in a food grinder or electric blender.
Mix with cocoa, syrup and rum until a thick paste is formed.
Dust the palms of hands with the sugar.
Pull off the dough in bits, and roll into balls the size of a big cherry.
Set aside to dry for about an hour.
Roll in sugar, and store in an air-tight container for several days to mellow.
