Chocolate Angel Food Dessert
|Semisweet chocolate chips||12 Ounce (2 Cups)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Egg yolks||3 , beaten|
|Whipping cream||2 Cup (32 tbs), whipped|
|Angel food cake||10 Ounce (1 Piece)|
In the top of a double boiler over boiling water, melt chocolate chips.
Combine milk, egg yolks and sugar; gradually add to chocolate, stirring constantly.
Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from the heat; cool to room temperature.
Fold in cream.
Tear cake into bite-size pieces; place half in a greased 13-in.x 9-in.x 2-in.baking pan.
Top with half of the chocolate mixture.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
