Chocolate Chip Cookies
|Butter||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Baking soda||2 Teaspoon|
|Chocolate chips||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
In a bowl, cream butter.
Fold in sugar, brown sugar and eggs.
In a second bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
Fold into butter mixture.
Add chocolate chips.
Shape dough into rolls.
Slice into 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) thick rounds.
To avoid burning cookies, double thickness of cookie sheet (by placing 2 cookie sheets one on top of the other) or lower oven temperature.
Bake in oven 6 minutes.
