Chocolate Peanut Treats
|Light corn syrup||1 Tablespoon|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Peanut butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Unsweetened cocoa||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Quick cooking oats||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa; stir in milk and corn syrup.
2. Add butter. Bring to boiling; boil vigorously 3 minutes.
3. Stir in rolled oats and peanut butter. Return to boil.
4. Remove from heat; stir until slightly thickened. Immediately drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool.
