Chocolate Chip Melt Aways
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened|
|Vegetable oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sifted powdered sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Cream of tartar||1 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Semi-sweet chocolate morsels||12 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Sugar||2 Tablespoon (For Rolling)|
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at low speed of an electric mixer until smooth.
Combine flour, soda, cream of tartar, and salt; add to butter mixture, beating until smooth.
Stir in vanilla and chocolate morsels.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar.
Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets; bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
