Line 12 muffin cups with foil or paper baking cups.
In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate and shortening, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat.
Using small pastry brush or teaspoon, brush thin layer of chocolate evenly over bottom and up sides of each cup.
Place in freezer until firm, 10 to 20 minutes.
Brush sides of cup with another thin layer of chocolate.
Place in freezer an additional 10 minutes or until firm.
Carefully peel foil cups away from chocolate cups; store in refrigerator.
12 chocolate cups.
