Ingredients
  Unsweetened chocolate square 1 Ounce (About 3 Pieces)
  Water   Cup (0 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Light cream/Undiluted evaporated milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Peppermint extract 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Place chocolate and water in a deep, 1 1/2 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole.
Heat, uncovered, on full power 45 seconds or until chocolate is melted.
Stir to biend chocolate and water.
Add sugar, corn syrup and salt.
Heat, uncovered, on roast for 11 minutes or until a candy thermometer reaches 240°F.
Stir occasionally.
Gradually blend in cream and flavoring.
