Frosted Chocolate Nut Drops
|Unsweetened chocolate||4 Ounce (4 Squares)|
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sifted all purpose flour||2 3⁄4 Cup (44 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Buttermilk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Black walnuts/Walnuts||2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped|
|Rich chocolate frosting||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
Melt chocolate; set aside to cool.
Cream butter with extract; add sugar gradually, beating until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Blend in cooled chocolate.
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, mixing until blended after each addition.
Stir in walnuts.
Drop by tablespoonfuls about 3 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350Â°F 12 to 15 minutes.
