Chocolate Raisin Fingers
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Seeded Or Seedless)|
|Butter/Margarine||3⁄8 Cup (6 tbs)|
|Semisweet chocolate square||4|
|Orange rind||1 Tablespoon, grated|
|Corn syrup||1 Tablespoon|
|Crumbled cake||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Angel Food Or Sponge)|
Cover raisins with boiling water; leave about 3 minutes to plump.
Soften butter; add with chocolate, orange rind, and syrup to cake crumbs.
Add raisins; mix well.
Press into oblong shape, about 1/2 inch thick, onto greased paper.
Chill until set; cut into fingers.
Garnish with slivers of orange peel
