Tollhouse Chip Cookies
|Butter||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Vanilla||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Rolled oats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Chocolate bits||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Mix soft butter with brown sugar and beaten egg.
Add vanilla and flour sifted with soda and salt.
Blend in rolled oats, chopped nuts and chocolate bits.
Drop by heaping teaspoons on greased baking sheets 2 inches (5 centimeters) apart.
Bake at 375F (190C) for about 10 minutes.
