|Fresh pumpkin||1 , seeded, pared, and cut into 2 x4 inch sections|
|Vegetable oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (for deep frying)|
|Salt/Garlic salt||To Taste|
Slice the pumpkin sections with the slicing disk.
Soak slices in water for 1 hour.
Remove and pat dry.
Fry in oil at 360Â°F, a few slices at a time, for about 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
Drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle with salt or garlic salt or a mixture of salt, ginger, and nutmeg.
A mixture of garlic salt and curry powder is also good.
