Apricot Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Crisco 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dried apricots 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), finely chopped
  Chocolate chips 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Nuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
Directions

Cream together butter, shortening and sugars.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Gradually stir flour, salt and soda into creamed mixture until smooth.
Stir in apricots, chips and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets; bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Cool on wire rack.
