How to Make Kale Chips - The Vegan Zombie

Make your own homemade delicious crunchy kale chips!

Ingredients

For cheese sauce
Cashew 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Nutritional yeast 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Paprika 1 Teaspoon
Chili flake 1/2 Teaspoon
Cayenne 1/8 Teaspoon (to taste)
Sea salt 1/8 Teaspoon
Apple cider vinegar 1 Teaspoon
Mild hot sauce 1 Teaspoon
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Other ingredients
Curly kale 1 Bunch (100 gm)
Nutritional yeast 1 Tablespoon
Sea salt To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven to the lowest temperature. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

MAKING

2. For cheese sauce – in a blendtec, add in all the ingredients and blend until smooth.

3. Remove the kales from the stem and place in a large bowl, add in the cheese sauce. Massage with hands.

4. Spread the kales over the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle nutritional yeast and sea salt.Bake for 2 – 4 hours.

SERVING

5. Serve the kale chips with some cheese sauce.
