Potato Chip Tuna Melts
|Canned tuna packed in oil||12 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Celery ribs||2 , finely chopped|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|White wine vinegar||1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Marbled rye bread slices||8|
|Cheddar cheese slices||12 (Sandwich Slice)|
|Tomato||1 Large, sliced into 8 slices|
|Crushed potato chips||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. Heat a sandwich press, if using.
2. Using a fork, flake the tuna into a medium bowl. Add celery, mayonnaise, and vinegar and stir well.
3. Lay 4 slices of bread on work surface. Cover each with 1 slice of cheese, 2 tomato slices, and another slice of cheese. Mound tuna on top of each portion, top with 1 more slice of cheese and another slice of bread. Grill in a press or toast 2 sandwiches at a time in toaster oven set on medium-dark until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.
4. Open sandwiches, top tuna with potato chips, close, and cut in half. Serve hot.
