|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Shredded coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Green apples||6 , sliced|
|Hot fat||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (For deep frying)|
1) In a bowl, add egg and milk and beat well.
2) Stir in the seasonings, flour, baking powder and coconut and mix till a smooth consistency.
3) In a skillet add fat and heat at 400 degrees.
4) Dip the apple slices into the batter and drop into the hot fat.
5) Fry till browned.
6) Serve hot.
