Mocha Chip Torte
|Nescafe powder||3 Tablespoon (Classic)|
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs) (Nestle)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs), powdered|
|Vanilla essence||1 Teaspoon|
|Cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chocolate||4 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Walnuts||4 Tablespoon, chopped|
1)Take 2 bowls. Separate the egg yolks and the whites aside. Keep them aside.
2)Whisk the yolks lightly and pour in the Nestle Milk. Mix well.
3)In a different bowl, add sugar, Nescafe Classic, gelatine and mix well.
4)Transfer it into the milk mixture.
5)Place the bowl over a pan of hot water.
6)Cook stirring constantly till it thickens and forms a custard like consistency. When a spoon is dipped, it should coat the back of the spoon.
7)Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
8)Pour in vanilla essence.
9)Using a hand blender, whip the cream till it turns thick.
10)Gently fold the cream into coffee custard.
11)Whisk the egg whites till it turns stiff (soft peak stage) and gently fold it into the custard.
12)Transfer the mixture into a wet dish.
13)Scatter chopped chocolate and walnuts on top.
14)Chill in the refrigerator till set.
15)Serve when required.
