Macadamia Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  Butter 4 Ounce, softened (1 Stick)
  Powdered sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salted macadamia nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  White baking chips 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Semi sweet chocolate chips 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, beat butter, powdered sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Beat in egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
2. Beat in flour mixed with baking powder until dough is smooth, scraping down side of bowl frequently with a rubber spatula. Place macadamia nuts in a strainer and shake to remove excess salt. Fold macadamia nuts, white chocolate chips, and semisweet chocolate chips into dough.
3. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cookies cool 2 minutes on sheets, then remove to racks and let cool completely. Store in a tightly covered container.
