Banana Chips

  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
  Turmeric powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste (According To Taste)
  Raw bananas 6

Take off and put bananas in plenty of iced water.
Slice bananas with a chip slicer into water, mix in in turmeric.
Keep for 10 minutes, remove out water fully.
Spread out on a kitchen cloth to take off moisture.
Heat up oil in a wok till smoky.
Fry banana slices in one-layer batches for a minute or two or until crisp.
Lift chips out with slotted spoon and remove on paper towels.
Sprinkle with salt before serving

I once tried making them but the chips didn't come out crispy. May be because I didn't put them in ice cold water before deep frying.

That is probably why... even home made potato french fries are supposed to be frozen and then lightly thawed and immediately deep fried for crispy and light chips.... I love banana chips, I'm gonna try this :)

yesterday i treid making at my home and it was amazing mu son liked like anything i tried many times making chips at home but did not succeed thanks a lot for the best recipe
