American.foodie's picture
  Corn flake/2/3 cup cornflake crumbs 2 2⁄3 Cup (42.67 tbs) (Kellogg's)
Sifted regular all purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Soft butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla flavoring 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Semi sweet chocolate morsels 6 Ounce (1 Cup)
Chopped nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

1. If using Corn Flakes, crush into fine crumbs. Sift together flour and salt. Combine with Corn Flake Crumbs. Set aside.
2. Beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy; stir in vanilla. Add dry ingredients and chocolate morsels; mix well.
3. Press evenly into ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with nuts.
4. Bake in moderate oven (375° F.) about 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool, and break into irregular pieces. Because cookies are extra buttery, drain on absorbent paper.
