Guacamole And Chips
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), chopped|
|Chopped red onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Jalapeno pepper||1 Small, finely chopped|
|Ripe hass avocados||4 , halved, pitted, and scooped from the skin|
|Lime juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Black pepper||To Taste|
|Chopped cilantro||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. In a mortar and pestle or in a mixing bowl with a fork, mash together the garlic, onion, and jalapeno. Add the avocado and mash until it forms a chunky paste. Add lime juice, salt, pepper, and cilantro, and stir to combine.
2. Garnish with chopped tomato if desired. Serve with tortilla chips or as an accompaniment to spicy food.
