Orange Beef

Orange beef is a Chinese spicy flank steak and orange peel main course recipe from the Hunan region. The orange beef recipe basically involves marinating the steak in a mixture of egg white and corn starch, refrigerating it for an hour, deep frying the steak, spices, onions, garlic and orange peels in stages. The steak is cooked in a mixture of chicken broth, orange juice and soy sauce with spices for a few seconds in between before deep frying the orange peel. The orange beef recipe is a tangy, spicy sweet and sour treat that tastes the best with rice.
