The Sichuan Higher Institute of Cuisine

This institute was founded in 1985 and is a popular Chinese cooking school. It is a part of the Sichuan Tourism College. The school has up-to-date facilities, which include practice rooms, demonstration room, and other essential equipment. The programs offered here include kitchen management, cuisine techniques, cake techniques, western cuisine technique, food processing technology, cuisine and nutrition, and much more. The regular programs are conducted in Chinese. However, the institute has two-week program tailored for tourists, which is taught in English.

 

 

New Oriental Cooking School, Beijing

Being of the important cooking schools in China, this professional training school has a chain of other schools distributed across China. This school has established a distinct style of culinary teaching and has a good track record of creating highly-skilled professionals for over 20 years. The programs offered here cover a variety of subjects that are needed for a student to start a career in the culinary industry. The school also offers group training for foreign tourists.

 

 

Chinese Cuisine Training Institute, Hong Kong

This institute is an initiative by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This school has full-time and part-time programs, tailored to suit students who are interested in becoming cooking professionals. Apart from the theoretical classes, the students also get practical training from the training restaurant present here. Courses for tourists and general public are also available here.

 

 

Guangzhou Oriental Cooking School, Guangzhou

Well known in the Guangzhou region, this Chinese cooking school offers courses that enable students to take up a culinary career.  The programs offered here cover various subjects such as the culinary techniques, food preparation, canton cuisine, and other cuisines. The school has the required facilities with a fully-equipped demonstration hall and practice kitchens.

 

 

Yi Qin Cookery College, Beijing

Established in 1992, this college is approved by the Beijing Labour Bureau. It is considered as a specialized technical research and development training base for chinese cuisine in the Asia pacific region. This school aims to hone the technical skills of students and help them secure a stable employment. The classes offered here include domestic cooking skill, domestic western desserts, domestic food made of flour, Sichuan dishes, Hunan dishes, food carving, and other specialty courses.

 

 

Yangshuo Cooking School

This is another cooking school in china that offers cooking classes for food enthusiasts. The classes cover the chinese cuisine, especially the cuisine of Guanxi Province. The classes are taught by English-speaking natives, who reveal the cooking tips and techniques that are behind the traditional dishes. The students get an individual cooking area. These hands-on classes include a trip to the local market to source the ingredients. Daily courses and week-long advanced courses are available here.

 

 

Hias Gourmet

Cooking classes offered here introduce the participants to the Chinese cuisine. The classes teach the authentic cooking techniques, which the students can practice in their own homes. The classes are scheduled and are hands on. The dishes covered here include the recipes from Sichuan, Beijing, Guangdong, and other Chinese regions.
