Mock Chow Mein

Ingredients
  Fresh pork 2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped
  Fat/Lard 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Corn starch 1 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 4 Tablespoon
  Chopped celery 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Celery stalks 4 , cut into strips
  Diced onions 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Chicken 4 Small, broiled
  Canned chinese bean sprouts 5 Ounce, drained (1 Medium Can)
Directions

Fry pork in fat until almost done, then add sugar, soy sauce and a little water if needed.
Add celery and onion, simmer until vegetables are half-done.
Add bean sprouts, thicken slightly with a little corn starch dissolved, in water, add chicken meat cut into small strips simmer until vegetables are tender.
Serveover unheated Chinese fried noodles, with extra soy sauce on side.
Serves four.
