Mock Chow Mein
|Fresh pork||2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Corn starch||1 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||4 Tablespoon|
|Chopped celery||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Celery stalks||4 , cut into strips|
|Diced onions||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Chicken||4 Small, broiled|
|Canned chinese bean sprouts||5 Ounce, drained (1 Medium Can)|
Fry pork in fat until almost done, then add sugar, soy sauce and a little water if needed.
Add celery and onion, simmer until vegetables are half-done.
Add bean sprouts, thicken slightly with a little corn starch dissolved, in water, add chicken meat cut into small strips simmer until vegetables are tender.
Serveover unheated Chinese fried noodles, with extra soy sauce on side.
