Chicken Chop Suey

Chicken Chop Suey is an extremely tasty dish that can be served for any occasion. Experience the wonder of the Chicken Chop Suey with this wonderful recipe.
Ingredients
  Chicken fillets 4
  Salt To Taste
  Soy sauce 2 Teaspoon
  Dry sherry 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
  Cornflour 1 Teaspoon
  Dried chinese mushrooms 6
  Bamboo shoot/2 celery stalks 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Green shallots 8 , cut into short lengths
  Snow peas 8 , tiped and tailed
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Oyster sauce 3 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper To Taste
  Chicken stock 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Remove any skin and bones from chicken and shred meat finely. Sprinkle with salt. Combine soy sauce, sherry, 1 crushed garlic clove and cornflour, add chicken and stir well. Soak dried mushrooms in hot water about 15 minutes, drain. Shred mushrooms, bamboo shoot and shallots the same size as chicken. Peel remaining garlic clove, heat oil and fry garlic until golden, discard. Add chicken mixture and fry, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms, snow peas, bamboo shoot and shallots, fry further 2 minutes. Add oyster sauce, if using, and season well with freshly ground black pepper. Cook 2 minutes, then add stock and simmer 1-2 minutes longer. Serve immediately with boiled rice
