Hong Kong Chop Suey
|Shredded pork||1⁄2 Pound|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Shredded celery||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Shredded onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Stock||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Pea sprouts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Heat a pan with oil and when it is very hot add the meat and saute for 1 minute.
Add the soy sauce, celery, onion and stock; boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Lower the heat, cover, and continue to cook for 5 minutes.
Add the pea sprouts and stir two or three times so that the vegetables are well mixed; cover again for 2 minutes, by which time the pea sprouts should be well heated.
Season with pepper and salt to taste and serve immediately in a shallow dish.
