American Beef Chp Suey

Ingredients
  Celery 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Bean sprouts 1 Can (10 oz)
  Beef roast 2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped (Use Leftover)
  Water chestnuts 1 Can (10 oz), chopped
  Mushrooms 1 Can (10 oz)
  Beef broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 3 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

In large skillet, brown celery and onion in butter.
Add bean sprouts, beef, water chestnuts and mushrooms.
To broth, add cornstarch and soy sauce.
Mix and stir into meat and vegetables.
Add salt.
Simmer about 45 minutes, adding a little more water if mixture becomes too dry.
Serve over cooked rice or canned egg noodles topped with soy sauce.
Dissolve 2 cubes beef bouillon to make broth if desired.
