Hot Szechwan Braised Meat With Spring Onion

Ingredients
  Lean meat 1⁄2 Kilogram, cut into bite sized squares
  Spring onions 20 , thinly sliced (White Part Only)
  Mushrooms 4 , soaked in hot water (Soaked For 30 Minutes)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Fresh ginger 1 Teaspoon, grated
  Chili powder/Paste 1 Tablespoon
  Sesame paste 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Peanut oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Parsley 1 Dash (For Garnishing)
Directions

Beat the meat squares until thin.
Put together in a bowl, sesame paste, garlic, ginger, soya sauce, chilli paste or powder and salt.
Mix well.
Rub well the pieces of meat squares with the above mixture.
Drain and slice mushrooms.
Heat oil in a pan, and stir fry meat pieces and mushrooms over high heat until cooked.
Remove from pan and keep aside.
Add onions to the same oil and fry.
Add little more oil if necessary.
Place braised meat pieces on a large serving plate, cover the meat with onions, and sprinkle parsley.
Serve hot with rice.
VEGETARIAN VERSION:
Use 1 recipe vegetarian ham or Indian cottage cheese in place of meat squares or cooked sliced gluten.
Proceed as given above for the remaining recipe.
