Chinese Broccoli

Ingredients
  Broccoli 500 Gram
  Vegetable oil 50 Milliliter
  Onion 1 Small
  Soy sauce/Teriyaki sauce 30 Milliliter
  Sugar 2 Milliliter
  Chicken consomme 125 Milliliter
  Cornstarch 10 Milliliter
Directions

Cut the broccoli stems diagonally, making long, slender cuts, and break the heads into small flowerets.
In an 8 x 12-inch (20 x 30 cm) microwave-safe dish heat the vegetable oil 30 seconds at HIGH.
Add the onion and microwave, covered, 3 to 4 minutes at HIGH.
Add the broccoli.
Stir until well coated with the oil and onion.
Microwave 4 minutes at HIGH, stirring twice.
Blend the remaining ingredients together.
Add to the broccoli, stir.
Microwave 2 minutes at MEDIUM-HIGH.
Stir until well blended; the sauce should be creamy and somewhat transparent.
If not, microwave 1 more minute at HIGH.
Adjust seasoning.
Serve.
