Chinese Pork Chops
|Pork chops/Pork shoulder||500 Gram|
|Vegetable oil||30 Milliliter|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Canned pineapple chunks||284 Milliliter|
|Barbecue sauce/Plum sauce||125 Milliliter|
|Soy sauce||30 Milliliter|
Cut the meat diagonally into thin slices.
Heat the vegetable oil 3 minutes at HIGH in an 8 x 8-inch (20 x 20 cm) ceramic dish.
Place the meat in the hot oil.
Mix well and micro wave 2 minutes at HIGH.
Salt and pepper.
Add the juice drained from the pineapple, the garlic and barbecue or Chinese plum sauce.
Cover and microwave 15 minutes at MEDIUM.
Mix the cornstarch with the soy sauce.
Add to the meat together with the green pepper.
Stir well and microwave 5 minutes at MEDIUM.
Stir halfway through the cooking.
Serve with boiled rice.
