Kung Pao Chicken Asian

Moon Cho shows you how to make your favorite Chinese dish "Kung Pao Chicken." With the bold kung pao sauce, the dried chili pepper for the spice, and the peanuts for the crunch, you will make this recipe over and over again. All the ingredients for this recipe can be found in your local supermarket, no need to go to an Asian market.
Ingredients
  Dried red chillies 10 Small
  Scallions 3 Medium, diced
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), minced
  Peanuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Peanut oil/Sesame oil 2 Teaspoon
  Chicken breast boneless skinless 3 Medium, cut into 1/2 cubes
For the marinade
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Rice vinegar 3 Tablespoon
  Sesame oil 1 Tablespoon
  Corn starch 2 Tablespoon
For kung pao sauce
  Soy sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a bowl mix all the ingredients of the “marinade”.
2. In a zip lock bag out the chicken pieces and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and let it sit for 10 minutes at room temperature.
3. KUNG PAO SAUCE: In another bowl mix all ingredients of the “Kung Pao Sauce” till combined. Set aside.

MAKING
4. In a pan heat 1 teaspoon of the peanut oil. Heat it on medium heat and put the marinated chicken. Stir the chicken, cover with a lid and cook for a few minutes. Once one side begins to caramelize, flip it and continue to cook the other side. Transfer into a bowl.
5. In the same pan heat 1 more teaspoon of peanut oil. Put the garlic and sauté for few seconds. Add the dried red chillies and continue to sauté till they turn fragrant.
6. Return the chicken to the pan and pour the Kung pao sauce. Stir well to deglaze all the caramelization at the bottom of the pan. Stir well to coat all the chicken pieces in the sauce. Add the peanuts and continue to stir well till all the peanut is coated well. Cook for 2 more minutes and turn off the heat. Sprinkle the scallions and stir well to combine.

SERVING
7. In a serving plate, serve the Kung Pao chicken hot with steamed white or brown rice.
