Stir Fry Noodles With Mince Beef

Easy Chowmein at home filled with protein.

Ingredients

Angel hair pasta 200 Gram
Chicken bouillon 1/2 Teaspoon ((better than bouillon chicken flavor))
Yellow color 1 Dash
Ground beef 1/2 Pound
Salt To Taste
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , thinly sliced
Fresh ginger 1 Teaspoon , grated
Onion 1/2 Medium , chopped finely
Red bell pepper 1/2 Medium , sliced
Green bell pepper 1/2 Medium , sliced
Cabbage 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , shredded
Carrot 1 , sliced (Optional)
Soy sauce 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Sesame oil 1 Teaspoon
Green onions 2 , thinly sliced

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Rinse the angel hair pasta over cold water and cut the noodles into regular pieces.

2. Drain the pasta and place in a microwave proof bowl.

3. Add in the chicken bouillon and mix thoroughly. Place the bowl in microwave and cook for 2 minutes on high.

4. Take out the noodle bowl from the microwave and drain off the excess liquid using a strainer.

5. Add in the yellow color and toss until all of the noodles are a uniform yellow color. Set aside.

MAKING

6. In a wok add in the ground beef and stir fry until it is no longer pink in color.

7. Add in the ginger and garlic and sauté for few seconds.

8. Stir in the onion and stir fry for 2 minutes. Season with salt and stir again.

9. Add in the carrots, cabbage, red bell pepper and green bell pepper. Stir fry for 2 minutes.

10. Season with soy sauce and sesame oil; give a stir to the vegetable.

11. Add in the noodles and mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Top with green onions.

SERVING

12. Garnish, stir fried noodles with green onions and serve.
