Vegetable Chop Suey

Ingredients
  Celery 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Onion 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Fresh mushrooms 8 Ounce, sliced
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Soy sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Corn starch 2 Tablespoon
  Instant beef bouillon granules 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Canned chinese vegetables 16 Ounce, drained (1 can)
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Prepare the ingredients.

MAKING
2) In a 2-qt. casserole, mix celery, onion, mushrooms, and butter in 2-qt, casserole; cover.
3) Microwave at High 6 to 8 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
4) Keep the casserole aside.
5) In 2-cup measure combine water, soy sauce, cornstarch, bouillon granules and sugar.
6) Microwave at High 2 to 3 minutes, or until thickened, stirring twice during cooking.
7) With celery mixture, mix sauce and remaining ingredients.
8) Microwave at High 4 to 6 minutes, or until thoroughly heated, stirring after half the time.

SERVING
9) Serve the vegetable chop suey over rice or chow mein noodles.
