Chinese Sweet And Sour Soup

Ingredients
  Chicken breast 1 1⁄2 Pound (1 no.)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Corn starch 1 Tablespoon
  Water 3 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Canned condensed beef broth 21 Ounce (2 cans, 10 1/2 ounces each)
  Water 120 Milliliter (1 soup can)
  Canned sliced mushrooms and liquid 4 Ounce (1 can)
  Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon slices 3 (as required)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) With a sharp knife, remove the skin on the chicken.
2) Cut the chicken into thin 2-inch long slices.
3) Season the chicken slices with salt and keep aside.

MAKING
4) In a bowl, combine cornstarch, 3 tablespoons water and soy sauce.
5) In a saucepan, pour in beef broth and water.
6) Add the cornstarch mixture into the beef broth.
7) Place the saucepan over heat and bring the liquid to boil.
8) Fold in chicken, mushrooms and liquid, vinegar, and sugar.
9) Heat up the soup and simmer for 5 minutes.

SERVING
10) Ladle into the soup bowls and garnish with a slice of lemon. Pass a cruet of vinegar on side.
