Ginger Enhanced Sweet And Sour Sauce
|Vinegar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pineapple juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Canned beef consomme||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Grated ginger||3 Tablespoon|
|Cornstarch||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cold water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1) In a pan, gently heat all the ingredients together, except the water and cornstarch for about 3 to 5 minutes.
2) In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water, gradually stir into the hot sauce and heat thoroughly.
3) Serve the Sweet and Sour Sauce with meatballs, as a dipping sauce, or as required.
