Chinese Beef And Tomatoes

Ingredients
  Round steak 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut paper thin
  Soy sauce 7 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Ginger 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Green pepper 2 , seeded and cut into julienne strips
  Tomatoes 3 Large, peeled and cut into eighths
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Marinate meat in a mixture of 1/4 cup soy sauce and sugar for 1/2 hour.
Meanwhile, cook garlic and ginger in oil for a few minutes.
Add green peppers.
Saute, stirring constantly, for a few minutes.
Add beef and liquid.
Cook another few minutes.
Add tomatoes.
Cover.
Simmer a few minutes until tomatoes are hot.
Blend cornstarch with 3 tablespoons soy sauce.
Stir into mixture.
Cook 1 minute more until thickened.
