Chinese Baked Pears

|Ripe pears||3 Large|
|Chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Powdered ginger/Chopped crystallized ginger||1 Tablespoon|
Core the pears and fill the cavities with a mixture of the honey, ginger and walnuts.
Place in a baking dish and pour in enough water to half cover.
Bake in a moderate oven (375° F) for 45 minutes, or until pears are co'oked, but not shrivelled.
