Braised Halibut Chinese Style
|Halibut fillet||6 Ounce, cut into chunks (175 Gram)|
|Ginger root slice||2 , peeled and cut into strips|
|Spring onion||1 , cut into strips|
|Dry sherry||2 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1|
|Onions spring||2 Tablespoon (To Garnish:)|
|Tomato wedges||8 (To Garnish:)|
1) In a small frying pan, fry the halibut in the heated oil, quickly until evenly browned; stir in the ginger and spring onion and saute for further 1 min.
2) In a bowl, add the stock, sherry, soy sauce, cornflour, salt and pepper; blend well and pour over the fish; allow to the boil and simmer for 5 min, stirring at intervals.
3) Garnish with the spring onions and tomato wedges and serve immediately.
