Chinese Style Fried Halibut

Ingredients
  Vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chicken bouillon cubes 3
  Green pepper 1 Large, cut into strips
  Canned pineapple chunks 15 1⁄4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Cornstarch 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Halibut steaks 2 Pound (Or Fillets)
  All purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1)In a medium saucepan, add vinegar, sugar, 1 1/3 cups of water, green pepper, boullion cubes and pineapple chunks. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
2)In a small bowl, mix together soysauce, cornstarch and water.
3)Clean and rinse the fish. Pat dry.

MAKING
4)Add the cornstarch mixture to the pineapple mixture, while continuously stirringover low heat.
5)Dredge the fish in flour mixture thoroughly and deep fry in 1/8 inch oil at 375 degrees F until brown on both sides.
6)Drain excess oil on paper towels.

SERVING
7)Serve with pineapple sauce poured on the fish.
