Chinese Sweet And Sour Ribs

Ingredients
  Spare ribs 1 3⁄4 Kilogram
  Soya sauce 80 Milliliter
  Brown sugar 250 Milliliter
  Vinegar 180 Milliliter
  Sherry 125 Milliliter
  Oyster sauce 30 Milliliter
  Green bell pepper 1 , sliced
  Chopped candied ginger 15 Milliliter
  Pineapple chunks 180 Milliliter
  Cornstarch 10 Milliliter
  Water 30 Milliliter
Directions

Cut the ribs into 2" (5 cm) size pieces.
Place on a baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 325°F (160°C) oven for 1 1/2 hours or until crisp.
Blend the soya sauce, sugar, vinegar, sherry, oyster sauce, green peppers in a sauce pan.
Bring to a boil.
Add the ginger and pineapple chunks.
Blend the cornstarch with the water, add the sauce.
Remove from the heat as soon as the sauce thickens.
Pour over the ribs and serve.
