Chinese Sweet And Sour Ribs
|Spare ribs||1 3⁄4 Kilogram|
|Soya sauce||80 Milliliter|
|Brown sugar||250 Milliliter|
|Oyster sauce||30 Milliliter|
|Green bell pepper||1 , sliced|
|Chopped candied ginger||15 Milliliter|
|Pineapple chunks||180 Milliliter|
Cut the ribs into 2" (5 cm) size pieces.
Place on a baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 325°F (160°C) oven for 1 1/2 hours or until crisp.
Blend the soya sauce, sugar, vinegar, sherry, oyster sauce, green peppers in a sauce pan.
Bring to a boil.
Add the ginger and pineapple chunks.
Blend the cornstarch with the water, add the sauce.
Remove from the heat as soon as the sauce thickens.
Pour over the ribs and serve.
