SPECIAL MIXED VEGETABLES ( Chinese )
|Water chestnuts||2 Ounce|
|Bamboo shoots||2 Ounce|
|Bean sprouts||2 Ounce|
|Peeled tomatoes||2 Ounce|
Heat the oil, put in the tomato, press it down with a spoon, adding a little water if necessary to make it yield its juice.
Add onions and cabbage and cook for half a minute.
Add mushrooms, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots, cook for 1 minute.
Add celery and cook for 1 minute.
Finally, add the bean sprouts.
Cook for 1 minute, stirring all the time.
If the vegetables look as if they are getting dry, cover with a lid for a few seconds to generate steam.
Cook till done and season.
