Gingered Chinese Cabbage

Ingredients
  Vegetable oil 1 Teaspoon
  Grated ginger root 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Water 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Dash
  Finely shredded cabbage 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Chinese)
Directions

Mix all ingredients in 12-oz casserole [1-qt casserole].
Cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave on high (550 watts) until crisp-tender, 2 to 2 1/2 min [3 to 3 1/2 min]; stir.
Sprinkle with finely chopped fully cooked smoked ham if desired.
