Braised Chinese Mushrooms And Bean Curd

Ingredients
  Bean curd square 3
  Dried mushrooms 3 , soaked
  Onions spring 3
For seasoning sauce
  Chicken stock 6 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Oyster sauce 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1 Pinch
For thickening paste
  Cornflour 1 Teaspoon
  Water 2 Teaspoon
  Sesame oil 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Cut the pre-soaked mushrooms into halves, discarding the hard stems.
Cut each beancurd square into 3-cm (1 -in) squares.
Cut the onions into 1-cm (1/2-in) lengths.
Deep-fry the beancurd over a medium heat for 2 1/2 minutes, remove and drain.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and stir-fry the onion and mushrooms for 1 minute.
Then add the seasoning sauce and beancurd, cover and cook for 3 minutes over a low heat.
Thicken with cornflour paste, and serve sprinkled with sesame oil.
