Chinese Sweet And Sour Pork
|Cubed roast pork||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Cold One)|
|Cornflour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry sherry||2 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Frying oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
|Sweet and sour sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Trim fat from pork before cutting into cubes and measuring.
Mix together cornflour, egg, sherry and soy sauce and add pork.
Heat oil in an electric deep fryer or deep frying pan (not to fuming point) and deep fry pieces quickly, a few at a time.
When golden lift pork out and drain well.
Make Sweet and Sour Sauce according to directions before cooking pork.
Reheat sauce and pour over pork immediately it is cooked and serve with rice.
