Chinese Chow Mein
|Ground beef||1⁄2 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chow mein seasoning mix||1 1⁄8 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Chow mein vegetables||16 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Canned mushroom pieces and stems||4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
Crumble beef into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Microwave at High for 3 to 4 1/2 minutes, or until beef is no longer pink, stirring once to break apart.
Stir in water and seasoning mix.
Microwave, uncovered, at High for 4 to 10 minutes, or until mixture thickens and bubbles, stirring once.
Stir in chow mein vegetables and mushrooms.
Microwave at High for 3 to 5 minutes, or until heated through, stirring once.
Serve over crisp noodles.
