Chicken Chinese Style
|Skinned boned chicken||2 Pound, cut into strips 3 inches long|
|Diagonally sliced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced fresh ginger root||1 Tablespoon|
|Instant chicken broth and seasoning mix||1 Ounce (1 Packet)|
|Soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Cornstarch||1 Tablespoon, dissolved in 1 tablespoon water|
Brown chicken in a preheated nonstick skillet.
Add celery, mushrooms, water, ginger root, and broth mix.
Cover and cook until chicken is tender, about 20 minutes.
Add soy sauce and cornstarch and cook, stirring until thickened.
